We had tons of snow this winter! Which means that rafting is fantastic right now. The weather has been beautiful and warm and all that quickly melting snow has added lots of water to the Hudson, which begins right here in Indian Lake. It may be a bit on the cold side but the river is wide open and the ride is exhilarating! The summer may be warmer but the river is crowded so come up right now for the best ride of the season. Our cafe is open Thursday through Monday, 7 AM to 4 PM. We have freshly baked breakfast pastries & muffins every day. On Sundays, we feature a breakfast buffet for $5.75 per person. Our lunchtime offerings include a daily soup, a quiche of the day, and a variety of ready-made salads & sandwiches. Cabin guests get free coffee or tea every morning. Plan to visit us soon! SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE CAFE
Saturday, May 10th -- Mother's Day Cake Decorating Class
Learn basic cake decorating: how to properly ice a cake, learn to make simple shell borders and the fancy basketweave design. Impress your friends and family with new skills! Class is limited to just 8 students so sign up soon. Fee is $20.00 per person (includes equipment to take home: disposable bags, tip & coupler). Students must bring two unfrosted cake layers to class.
Sunday, May 18th -- Norwegian Pancake Breakfast
Two seatings: 8 AM and 10 AM, reservations required. Come experience the taste of Norway for Syttende Mai (Norwegian Independence Day). Full menu still to be determined but will include the traditional pancakes with lingonberries.

FAQ's Are you on the lake? We are conveniently located within walking distance of the town of Indian Lake. The lake itself is about a 10 minute drive. A marina is available there to rent motor boats and canoes for a day on the 14 mile long lake. Is there a kitchen in the cabins? No cooking facilities in the cabins but the cafe is right next door! Come in for a quick bite or a leisurely lunch. Are linens/towels provided? Yes. A full set of fluffy white towels is provided for each guest plus a towel for your pet, if you should decide to bring a dog along.
